Mid-size manufacturing company, designing and producing process control instruments, for both B2B customers and distributors/stockists.

Challenges :
  • Company’s turnover stagnated for last few years, with large inventory of raw material, finished goods and WIP. Frequent customer complaints.
  • Large variety of products, for multiple applications, across customer segments and geographies including India and abroad. 
  • Quality issues faced by customers leading to customer dissatisfaction.
  • HR issues, lack of cohesive policies and attrition of talented employees.
Solution :

Worked closely with the owner-CEO and top management team of the company to identify the visions and missions of the company. Carried out diagnostics study and extensive data analysis to identify bottlenecks in various areas responsible for the business stagnation, such as cash-to-cash cycle, ordering process, execution quality, production quality and communication gaps. Undertook HR intervention at the top levels to improve functional collaboration and collaborative problem-solving. It led to inventory cost reduction, productivity improvements and a vastly improved sales cycle.
